EvoLux Transportation is using technology and new social business models to coordinate a non-scheduled system of helicopter shuttles between areas of interest in South Florida (Airports, Casinos, Golf Resorts, and Downtown City Centers) as a “scenic”, alternative mode of transport.
EvoLux has harmonized a fleet of over thirty helicopters that vary in size, mission capability, and geographic point of origin, by partnering with highly reputable FAA Part-135 helicopter operators at low flat rates in exchange for volume.
Our current operating space ranges from Orlando to the Keys, Naples over to the Bahamas.
Through our Industry/Academic Partnerships, we are leveraging expertise in aviation management, engineering, and computer science to develop our Next Generation Non-Interfering Vertiport Operating System (NG-NIVOS). NG-NIVOS is an intelligent automated software infrastructure that facilitates an environmentally conscious, economically feasible, sustainable, alternative system of travel to and from business, medical, leisure, and residential district demand centers in dispersed, densely populated, and geographically challenged metropolitan areas. This software platform will drive efficiencies throughout the existing US multi-modal transportation infrastructure by:
Optimizing underutilized assets such as airports, heliports, low altitude airspace, and local helicopter fleets.
Enabling helicopter operators to maximize revenues while minimizing costs by participating in non-scheduled coordinated passenger and cargo transport shuttles between areas of high interest in congested cities.
Providing travelers with more flexible, short-distance transport options.
Enabling travelers to avoid traffic and reach their destinations with on-time certainty.
Facilitating travel to areas previously seen as inaccessible.
Ultimately enabling vertical lift operators to “pick up the slack” and redistribute traffic in stressed areas.
We are evolving a system that was developed during Operation Heli-STAR (Helicopter Short-Haul Transportation and Aviation Research conducted by the FAA's Vertical Flight Subcommittee) by converging advanced communications, navigation, and surveillance (CNS) sub-system components. This scalable system will seamlessly integrate with the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen), the digital revolution of the National Airspace System currently being deployed. NG-NIVOS will support new, profitable business models that will maximize utilization of aircraft and increase efficiencies, while reducing costs for low-altitude, high-volume, short distance non-scheduled helicopter operations.
Partners in this initiative include Florida Atlantic University's College of Engineering and Computer Science, Georgia Tech Research Institute's Advanced Aero-Transportation Systems Design Lab, the Global Center for Preparedness and College of Aeronautics at Florida Institute of Technology, as well as the US Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO - NASA, DoT, FAA, DoD, etc.) in Washington, DC.
EvoLux's mission is to revolutionize civilian transportation as we know it, by providing alternative travel solutions to densely populated metropolitan areas while simultaneously solving many pervasive economic issues. Our innovative products and services will result in new, entrepreneurial industries and supply chains that leverage local resources.
